MATERIAL AND FAILURE ANALYSIS

Technano’s Vision is to develop Potential application of nanotechnology solutions in development of new materials and coating for solving corrosion and asset integrity issues for diverse sectors.

Welding Inspection of components are witnessed as per ASME Sec IX and Client specification.

Items: Tubular Items – Finned Tubes, Seamless Tubes, Welded Tubes etc, Formed Items – Dished ends, Cones, Bellows etc. Forged Items – Flanges and Clamps Standard and non-standard as per ASME and Client requirement.

Destructive Material Testing

  • Tensile Tests with and without Microstrain Measurements Notched Bar Impact
  •  Tests at Temperatures as low as -196°C
  •  Macro-hardness Tests Complying With Vickers, Brinell and Rockwell.

Non-Destructive Material Testing

At Technano, we offer supplier inspection services for our clients.
Nondestructive testing (NDT) is one of  the aspects process of inspecting, testing, or evaluating materials, components or assemblies for discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without destroying the serviceability of the part or system. In other words, when the inspection or test is completed the part can still be used.

In contrast to NDT, other tests are destructive in nature and are therefore done on a limited number of samples (“lot sampling”), rather than on the materials, components or assemblies actually being put into service.

  • Ultrasonic Tests
  • Magnetic Particle Testing
  • Dye Penetrants Test
  • Wall and Layer Thickness Test by Magnetic Induction
  • Dimension Retention and Surface Checks
  • Mobile metallography and Hardness test and Spectrometry
